Oakleys is a local and hands on firm of accountants which is there to help you and your business. Based in a central Plymouth location in Houndiscombe Road just off Mutley Plain the business is run by Steve Jeffers and Alex Stevens to provide an efficient and cost effective service. Steve and Alex have been with Oakleys for over 20 years and they have a good understanding of business and what is needed to provide a professional service to assist you and your business in an ever changing tax system. They are both directors of the company and are Members in Practice Licence Holders with the AAT.
Oakleys deals with a wide range of businesses and individuals ranging from completing a self-assessment Tax return to preparing accounts. We have experience in many business sectors in the local area through from Plymouth to South East Cornwall and the surrounding area.
Oakleys was first started and set up by Jeremy Frewer over 25 years ago with a practice on the Barbican. After a short spell there, Oakleys moved to an office on Hastings Terrace where the practice continued to grow and develop a wider client base. It was here when Steve and Alex joined the practice as young trainees and gained their qualifications. As the business attracted more clients this prompted another move to a better location on North Hill. During this time Steve and Alex gained good experience of managing client’s affairs and running the business which was followed by both taking over Oakleys.
